About Sales Development Representative

  At DaySmart Software, we are a dynamic and energetic SaaS company that specializes in providing best-in-class scheduling and business management solutions to companies across the globe.

  We are excited to announce an opening for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) for our growing SDR Team, who will be responsible for identifying and engaging with potential customers in the Pet or Self Care space for our SaaS solutions. You will play a crucial role in the early stages of the sales process by generating leads, qualifying prospects, and setting up appointments for our sales team. This role requires a proactive and results-driven individual who can effectively communicate the value of our SaaS offerings to potential clients.  

  Key Responsibilities:

  Lead Generation: Identify and research potential leads using various sources, including online research, social media, company databases, and inbound inquiries.

  Prospecting: Cold call, email, and reach out to potential customers to initiate conversations about our SaaS products.

  Qualification: Determine the suitability of leads by assessing their needs, budget, authority, and timeline (BANT criteria).

  Educate Prospects: Clearly and effectively communicate the value proposition of our SaaS solutions to potential clients.

  Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for the sales team with qualified leads.

  Lead Nurturing: Maintain regular follow-up with leads who are not ready to buy immediately, ensuring long-term prospect engagement.

  Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to provide them with insights and information that can assist in the sales process.

  Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all lead interactions and activities in the CRM system.

  Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates on lead generation, qualification, and conversion metrics.

  Preference for applicants that live near a DaySmart Hub for occasional team building and collaboration:

  Ann Arbor, MI

  Philadelphia, PA

  Scottsdale, AZ

  Qualifications:

  Must have prior experience in an SDR, BDR, XDR, Account Executive or Account Manager role.

  Must have prior experience in a customer facing role (customer service, sales, call center, etc.).

  Prefer prior experience in a sales capacity to include generating leads, qualifying prospects, and cold calling.

  Must have prior experience with CRM software and sales prospecting tools.

  Proven ability to engage with and build relationships with potential clients.

  Familiarity with SaaS products and technology is a plus.

  Prefer prior experience in the fitness space.

  Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).

  Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  Goal-oriented and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.

  Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
