We are looking for a Sales Closer who drives customer acquisition through front-end sales conversations in support of our global revenue goals. The Sales Closer is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director of the UGURUS Business Unit. In this position you will play a critical role in expanding our presence in the market. Sales Closers at UGURUS by DigitalOcean hit their quota by converting opportunities into customers through opportunities booked from appointment setters and self-identified prospects. A successful UGURUS Sales Closer will produce an accurate monthly forecast that maps to a high win rate of qualified opportunities. They will work closely with the Sales Appointment Setter and other parts of the UGURUS by DigitalOcean ecosystem to quickly progress opportunities and land new customers. The Sales Closer will also ensure new customers are set up for success and ensure a seamless transition to their Customer Success Manager.

What You'll Be Doing:

Facilitating a consultative sales process with new opportunities daily Working with digital agencies in a 1 on 1 capacity to identify challenges, opportunities, and fit with our business accelerator program Helping ideal prospects make an informed decision and overcoming objections Fielding inbound opportunities from appointment setters Driving additional demand through self-generated leads & follow ups Following up with past inbound leads Following up with inbound leads who booked and didn’t show Documenting and tracking within a Salesforce CRM system, which will be critical to your success Providing feedback on lead quality and effectiveness of the Go To Market lead generation activities Bringing a high-energy, positive mindset every day which embodies the DigitalOcean principles

What We’ll Expect From You:

Proven track record of achieving measurable goals in a sales environment Strong network/relationships and ability to build strategic relationships Detail-oriented and extremely organized with an ability to multi-task & prioritize tasks Previous experience in appointment setting, high-ticket sales, or coaching/consulting programs Ability to clearly understand and articulate solution value propositions High-level technical aptitude to understand our products and how they fit together Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in clear and concise terms Ability to quickly synthesize and put to use new information Experience in SFDC a plus Strong organizational and time management skills Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred Be curious and ask questions

The salary range for this role is specific to candidates located within the U.S. and will vary for candidates outside the U.S.. The salary range for this position is based on relevant years of experience and skills. Employees may qualify for a bonus in addition to base salary; bonus amounts are determined based on company and individual performance.
