about the role
Chevron Australia Downstream has an opportunity for a Sales Administrator – StarCard to join the Fuels Retail team. Reporting to the Fuels Retail Manager, this 6-month maximum term role will be based in Hamilton, Queensland.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Manage and implement StarCard merchant program which includes:
Ensuring all merchants they are all set up correctly with WEX
Working with marketing to ensure they are actively promoted to StarCard customers
Monthly data and analytics to review performance
Own and manage Chevron site lead generation incentive program to ensure:
Engagement with team members is maximised
Sites are referring quality customers for StarCard conversion
Evolve the program to look for new lead opportunities
Reporting and communication to Chevron team member network
Own and manage BI and all data and analytics for StarCard customer and merchants to help improve sales conversion, retention, activation and in network volume via production of reports for the sales team to action weekly and monthly
Manage any new product development requirements including enhancements to WEX systems and change requests
Operational interface with WEX, Chevron’s outsourced partner for the StarCard program
Operational interface with Chevron’s outsourced sales partners to ensure operational smoothness in regards to their sales activities this includes the production of reporting and commission payments. Reporting relating to card activation and retention.

Growth in fuel volume at StarCard merchants
Growth and conversion in leads from Chevron sites for StarCard
Operational smoothness with WEX
Operational smoothness with 3rd party sales teams
Production of accurate and on time reports for managing merchant and card portfolios.
