Rotor Design Lead Engineer will be responsible for taking part in a design process of rotating components as well as supporting design of component tests/rigs and their execution. In this role, the individual will work within defined boundaries to make decisions to solve engineering problems of a moderate complexity, by taking timely actions, short-term planning, applying solid engineering principles and judgment to find optimum solutions.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements
Have knowledge of Best Practices and apply them in component design and integrate with adjacent hardware
Maintain and advance awareness of the competitive landscape and the factors that differentiate your technology area
Act as a resource to the team, providing technical guidance and mentoring to colleagues
Lead efforts/projects to solve both technical and schedule related problems
Present work to subject matter experts and program leaders at technical reviews
Monitor and effectively communicate projects status and potential issues
Ensure work is thoroughly documentedSupport specific functional and organizational initiatives
Required Qualifications
MSc/BSc in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science or similar
Experience relevant to indicated position area of expertise
Executing analyses/evaluation of assigned projects, with limited guidance
Technical and problem-solving skills and ability to set priorities for assigned tasks
Focused on goals, motivated

Strong technical attitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems
Solid oral and written communication skills
Interpersonal and leadership skills
