Reminiscent of the grand Parisian hotels of the 1920s, this luxury hotel features 215 rooms, over 5,000 square feet of meeting space, and 4 food and beverage outlets. This includes a restaurant, 2 bars, and in-room dining.

Shift: Various – must be available to work weekdays, weekends, overnights and holidays.

Union Position: This position is part of the Local 1 Union which requires complete open availability. We are not able to accommodate schedule restrictions and full-time hours arenotguaranteed. Hours and schedule are based on seniority and business needs and may be minimal at times until seniority isestablished.  You must be comfortable with a schedule and hours that may vary from week to week.

A Room Service Server is responsible for delivering and serving food and beverage items to guests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Wage: The hourly rate is $13.60 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

What will I be doing?

As a Room Service Server, you would be responsible for delivering and serving food and beverage items to guests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Set up room service trays and tables to prepare for incoming ordersRetrieve checks, set tables according to specifications, retrieve food and beverage orders from the kitchen and bar and deliver food to guest rooms and meeting roomsServe meals to guests, collect guest trays and respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient mannerPresent checks to guests and obtain paymentReturn payments/signed checks to order takerPerform order taker duties and answer room service telephone, as neededServe alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulationsOvernight shifts will be requiredWhat are we looking for?
