Essential Functions
Job Performance
Troubleshoot robotic systems, using knowledge of microprocessors,programmable controllers, electronics, circuit analysis, mechanics,sensor or feedback systems, hydraulics, or pneumatics.
Determine causes of operational problems or failures.
Disassemble and reassemble robots or peripheral equipment to makerepairs such as replacement of defective circuit boards, sensors,controllers, encoders, and servomotors.
Assemble equipment or components.
Perform preventive or corrective maintenance on robotic systems orcomponents.
Install, program, or repair programmable controllers, robot controllers,end-of-arm tools, or conveyors.
Program robotic equipment.
Test performance of robotic assemblies, using instruments such asoscilloscopes, electronic voltmeters, or bridges.
Test performance of electrical, electronic, mechanical, or integratedsystems or equipment.
Build or assemble robotic devices or systems.
Maintains safe and clean working environments by complying withprocedures, policies, and safety regulations.
Meets or exceeds established manufacturing goals.
Maintains acceptable levels of attendance and punctuality.
Must adhere to company policies and procedures.
Must be willing to accept and receive supervision, instructions, andperform other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
Ability to adequately work with appropriate tools and equipment,constantly use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, orcontrols.
Must have Adequate mobility for stooping, bending, lifting, strength andgrip requirements necessary to frequently manipulate and/or liftproducts weighing up to 40 lbs, and climb under on top of moldingmachines, or work underneath machines. frequently required tostand/walk. Frequently required to use step ladders/raised platforms.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depthperception, and ability to adjust focus.
Must wear Safety glasses with side shields in all production areas andhearing protection must always be worn in designated areas.
Work is performed in a manufacturing environment, heat and coldtemperatures vary according to season.
This position is considered a safety sensitive position due to themanufacturing environment, operating moving equipment, working onelevated surfaces, and above machines, and forklift traffic.
