　　Founded in 1887 Dignity Health - California Hospital Medical Center is a 318-bed acute care nonprofit hospital located in downtown Los Angeles. The hospital offers a full complement of services including a Level II trauma center the Los Angeles Center for Womens Health obstetrics and pediatric services and comprehensive cardiac and surgical services. 　　Responsibilities

　　As an ER Nurse at California Hospital now part of CommonSpirit Health formed between Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Dignity Health you’ll be the first touchpoint to the people in our community during health emergencies.

　　No two days in emergency nursing are ever the same. You’re a multitasker who can react quickly as you’ll prioritize patients based on their medical necessity while you’re providing emergency triage to others. As part of our ER team you’ll partner with an experienced clinical team to deliver stabilizing care to our patients by performing IV starts foley catheter insertions or aiding providers with chest tube insertions.

　　To thrive as an ER nurse you should exhibit teamwork professionalism critical thinking skills and a willingness to take on additional projects such as patient experience initiatives. 　　Responsibilities

　　Will transition to practice in one of our inpatient Emergency Dept

　　Will be required to complete each of the components of the program including:

　　Didactic,

　　Skills enhancement,

　　Simulation,

　　An EBP project,

　　Attend all monthly transition-to-practice program courses to graduate

　　Qualifications

　　Minimum Requirements:

　　RN License in the State of California

　　1 year acute care experience

　　BLS (Basic Life Support)

　　ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

　　PALS

　　Pay Range

　　$55.05 - $73.44 /hour
