　　Position Summary:

　　Wilson Medical Center in Wilson, NC has an opening for Registered Nurse in our ICU unit. The unit is a 14 bed Intensive Care Unit/Intermediate Care unit that includes management of mechanically ventilated patients, patients requiring critical drips, and other critical patients. The unit has a nurse to patient ratio of 2-3 patients.

　　Under the general supervision of the Director, and according to established policies and procedures, the Registered Nurse coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, acts as a patient/family advocate, and works with other nursing and ancillary personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice. Work is of a highly confidential nature. Performs other duties of the department as required.

　　Minimum Qualifications:

　　Graduation from a Nursing Education program.

　　NC or Multi-state RN licensure required

　　BLS certification required

　　ACLS required or must be obtained within 12 months from date of hire
