　　Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package with generous benefits and wages ranging from $40.49 - $49.00+ per hour. All Wage determinations will be based on similar experience.

　　Ebenezer is seeking a candidate for a RN Charge Nurse to support our Transitional Care residents in our Aurora on France TCU skilled nursing facility! This role provides hands on care and support services for our senior residents at our spacious care center in Edina, MN.

　　This patient support position includes;

　　48 hours every two weeks

　　Part-time schedule, Evening shift

　　Includes every other weekend Saturday/Sunday and holiday rotations

　　Responsibilities/Job Description

　　Leads, supervises and directs and/or delegates all nursing functions on assigned unit or floor to assure that care is provided per individualized plan of care.

　　Serves as a positive role model to staff.

　　Assures that reporting process is accurate and provides continuity of care from shift to shift.

　　Observes and evaluates cares given by nursing staff through daily rounds.

　　Monitors meal times to assure that: a) appropriate staff coverage and assistance is given, and b) proper diets are served in a timely manner.

　　Assures that medications and treatments are administered per physician orders and facility policies.

　　Serves as contact with families and outside health care providers.

　　Evaluates Observes staff performance and addresses concerns promptly and appropriately (staff training or performance issue).

　　Conducts staff performance reviews, surveys and audits upon request.

　　Serves as lead in emergency situations as required.

　　Participates in discipline process as required.

　　Answers call lights.

　　Active in admission and discharge process.

　　Attends mandatory, Annual, and other educational opportunities as offered on and off site.

　　Qualifications

　　Required:

　　Current MN RN license or by start date

　　1-3 years of RN experience required

　　AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers

　　Preferred:

　　Comfortable using Microsoft windows and electronic charting systems

　　Good written and verbal communication skills to get along with residents, families and physicians or providers

　　Ability to work with and have sensitivity to the needs of the geriatric population
