Description

　　As a Revenue Accountant, you will be responsible for a range of important tasks related to the financial management of our organization. Your primary responsibilities may include and or assisting with:

　　Performing detailed analysis and reconciliation of large financial datasets.

　　Create PPA’s, post-closing entries,

　　Reconciliations for Multiple Corporations, Misc. AJE's as needed, refunded owner checks processing,

　　Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Severance and withholding Taxes as needed Assist with Handling all aspects of tax compliance for the organization, including preparing, analyzing, reporting, and paying Texas severance tax, lease use, JIB reimbursements, Mktg reimbursements batches.

　　Reconciliation of Severance taxes using Access.

　　Preparing Severance Tax amendments as needed.

　　Providing support on various financial reporting requirements, including Suspense analysis, Negative suspense letters,

　　Assist with 50 states Escheat reporting,

　　Create Purchaser batches using uploads, EnergyLink, operated and non-operated. JIB netting AJE's.

　　Assist with State reporting, suspense analysis to support and backup this reporting (land decks).

　　Microgrid/ Rio Wichita Flare gas,

　　suspense after close balancing, owner relations revenue phone calls, reconciliations AJE's as needed, Revenue Void checks.

　　Assist with Deposits, Void’s, Eft set up for Owners misc. AJE's, reconciliations.

　　Requirements

　　Minimum Qualifications

　　1-3 years’ experience and/or Degree in Accounting and Finance

　　To be successful in this role, you should have a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements. You should also be comfortable working with large datasets and have experience using financial management tools such as Spotfire and EnergyLink. Excel, QuickBase, Service Now, Oracle, PDF Extractor and Power BI. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are also essential. Positive Attitude, willingness to learn and look for ways to improve processes.
