The role
Summary
The Training, Education, and Development (TED) department serves as a centralized global support function. Its primary responsibility is to deliver functional training across Multi-Vendor and Modern Center of Excellence (MCoE). By doing so, TED enables individuals to perform their job responsibilities efficiently and accurately. Additionally, TED provides skill development for Individual Contributors (ICs) and sales teams worldwide, supporting, and empowering teams across the globe.
What you’ll be doing
SoftwareOne seeks to hire an experienced trainer with a good understanding of Microsoft licensing for its products. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in learning and operational excellence, along with a passion for training and coaching. As the primary point of contact for new and existing employees, the Trainer will handle training-related requests for operational fulfilment. Responsibilities include conducting new hire training, cross-training, upskilling sessions, and refresher training. Additionally, the Trainer will collaborate closely with various teams and departments to ensure effective training governance and foster positive working relationships.
Responsibilities:
Track progression and compile/ publish collected data around learning, knowledge, and skills.
Create training programs to address skill gaps in employees in the form of refresher and continuous training.
Conceptualize training materials based on latest/ upcoming changes.
Develop onboarding programs for new employees.
Conduct surveys to gauge the effectiveness of programs.
Conduct Knowledge Tests every quarter and publish inferences based on analysis of results.
Adhere to the training timeline as prescribed in the training timetable by the service line.
Create innovative training strategies, initiatives, create and maintain training material.
Facilitate and manage employee training and onboarding.
Conduct on-premises/ classroom/ virtual trainings.
Review employee performance and learnings.
Communicate with Global team members on trainings and knowledge tests.
Enable and develop talent from inception until it goes live in production.
What we need to see from you
What skills experience do you bring to us
A career break of at least 6 months and a strong desire to reintegrate into the workforce.Prior experience and specialization in a relevant field.
Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal.
Proven training experience with an excellent track record.
Excellent facilitation skills
Good to have the understanding Microsoft Licensing.
Critical thinking and decision-making.
Ability to think out of the box/ creative bent of mind.
Must be a positive thinker and with an open mindset for feedback.
Basic understanding of effective training methodologies and tools.
Exposure to tools like Service Now, MS Dynamics and other workflow tools.
Ability to lead a full training cycle.
Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
Ability to Liaise/ Consult with peers, different functions, and related teams
Great confidence in self and the company processes.
Passionate to upskill and enhance employee competencies.
Experienced as a Trainer or similar role.
Hands-on experience with designing training programs, workshops job aids
Excellent decision-making and organisational skills.
