It is a destination for consumers looking to purchase an off the shelf or customized gift for someone special. It is an experience for those wanting to treat themselves and their families to our in-store made fudge, caramel apples and hot fudge sundaes. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and overall care of staff and will be directly reporting to your Training Manager and Team Leader of Retail Shops.What you will be doing...Supervising, leading, and motivating employeesRecruit and hire quality associatesProvide first rate coaching and trainingMeeting sales and profit goalsControlling expenses and inventoryDisplaying strong merchandising techniquesUnloading, receive, and stock merchandisePreparing and supervising the regular in-house production of a variety of confection items made locally in our candy kitchenDisplaying an excellent customer service driven attitude.Performing back office duties using a PCDo you have what it takes?(Basic Qualifications)3 years of prior retail management experienceCustomer service and selling experienceExperience using Microsoft Word and ExcelExperience using an email serviceAbility to frequently lift up to 5 lbs. with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to constantly stand, bend, reach and work with your handsDo you stand above the rest?(Preferred Qualifications)High school diploma or GEDStrong leadership and team management skillsAble to manage multiple priorities at onceExhibit strong problem solving skillsCommunicate clearly and effectively with customers, coworkers and others with the organizationDesire to be part of a performance-driven teamAdditional Details
