This position is responsible for the pick up of merchandise from donors, safely packing the merchandise in the Restore truck and trailer, returning to the ReStore and unloading the truck and unpacking merchandise into the store.

General Duties:
Load and unload all donated materialsOccasionally assist customers loading and unloading their donationsAs donors call or drop off donations, screen for usabilityCommunicating with the ReStore Manager regarding incoming donationsOccasionally supervising volunteers, making their experience meaningfulMaintain an effective working relationship with ReStore staff, volunteers, Habitat homeowners and ReStore customersAccurately operates a cash register to document the sale of merchandiserefers to established pricing schedules and office records to verify pricingProcess cash, credit card and check transactions, following established procedures for each type of saleAnswers telephone and provides ReStore information, directions; meeting the caller's needsDaily cleaning and straightening of the ReStore (keeping it safe, neat and clean)Direct pricing and operational questions to the ReStore ManagerThere may be other duties as assignedRequired Skills Experience:
Knowledge and experience in retail salesWorks well within a team environmentMust be a good listenerWork is performed in retail / warehouse environment, may need to climb ladders reaching and stretching in awkward and tiring positionsAble to lift 75 poundsAble to stand on a cement floor all day, bending kneeling and liftingMust be able to operate a cash register, make accurate change, and use office equipmentPart time or Full time openings
Must have a valid driver's license, proof of insurance and maintain a good driving recordMust be able to lift 75 poundsMust be at least 18 years old
