Req# 27770Aultman Health Foundation, ALLIANCE, OHALLIANCE COMMUNITY HOSPITALAultman Health FoundationCasual - As Needed - No Benefits, Varied Shifts, VariedPosting dates for internal transfers:January 4, 2024, through January 6, 2024BASIC FUNCTION:A licensed respiratory care practitioner (LRCP) provides a full range of Respiratory Services to patients, including diagnostic evaluations, treatment, management, and care of patients with respiratory deficiency and abnormalities associated with the cardiopulmonary system, in accordance with specific physician's orders, department policies and procedures. The LRCP exercises professional judgment in the performance of these procedures. The LRCP provides good patient care and recognizes when conditions arise requiring immediate action and/or initialization of life support measures. The LRCP provides education to patients, family, and staff. The LRCP maintains patient confidentiality. The LRCP is responsible to the Director of Respiratory Services and or assistant manager.EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:A graduate of a respiratory therapy program accredited by the Commission for Respiratory Care.Certified Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
