　　Join our elite team as a Respiratory Therapist within our department at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla. Use your technical skills and experience to help our team in this exciting and fast-paced environment. Experience a variety of cases throughout our Level 3 NICU, ED, trauma, and Intensive Care Units. The ideal candidate has a thirst for knowledge and is dedicated to working with their team to provide excellent care to all of our patients.

　　The Respiratory Therapist, in collaboration with other caregivers, assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates actions for respiratory care. Performs all technical diagnostic and therapeutic procedures related to respiratory care and other core responsibilities necessary to maintain the flow of patient care and comfort in the unit. Responds to critical situations. Utilizes computer systems in performing position duties. Adheres to Hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Participates in Quality Control, preventative maintenance, and performance improvement activities

　　Excellent interpersonal skills. Enjoys working with the public.**Must be able to speak, read, and follow instructions in English.**Technically competent in the department skills inventory. Computer literate.**Current California RCP license **Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification**Preferred Qualifications:
