Position Summary: The Resin Recovery Operator I is responsible for properly grinding materials so they can be re-extruded. The person in the position should be progressing to meet the defined duties. Essential Functions: This position is responsible for the following tasks, duties, and responsibilities: Properly label and segregate different materials. Grind material at an acceptable rate per hour. Package boxes, skids, and warehouses material. Properly weigh and label ground material. Complete paperwork with minimal errors and maintains accurate records. Maintain inventory and organization of scrap materials. Identifies basic quality issues. Adheres to all Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures. Able to operate with some assistance. Operate a forklift safely in a fast-paced environment while carrying small to large loads. Maintain a safe work area by sweeping and cleaning as needed. Able to properly clean both the shredder and grinder following all safety protocols. Maintain the cleanness of all forklifts. Identify and report any unsafe work conditions, behaviors, or incidents. Follow and adhere to all safety procedures. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor/manager.
