JOB OPPORTUNITY: Research Study Coordinator
Location: Bronxville, NY
TEMPORARY AND PART TIME (5 hours per week/6 weeks)
Compensation: $100/hour
In-person and virtual
Project Title: Need Assessment for Older Adults in Bronxville’s NORC (Principal Investigator (PI): Aminda Heckman, PhD, LCSW)
Duties and Responsibilities
● Help create research study including questionnaire
● Create study manuals
● Create consent forms and other materials
● Complete an IRB application
● Recruit participants
● Perform other related activities as required
Performance Evaluation Procedure
Candidate will meet with the PI on a weekly basis to discuss completed tasks and plan activities for the following week.Required Education, Experience and Skills
● MSW graduate
● Knowledge of and execution of research study design
● Experience training and managing research assistants
● Expertise in data collection
● Excellent organizational skills
● Commitment to racial justice, social justice, and social equity
● Willing to adhere to NYU COVID protocols about vaccination and masking
● Must have a high level of attention to detail, flexibility, ability to work on a team, and punctuality
Preferred Education, Experience and Skills
● Training and experience with working with older adults
● Knowledge of IRB protocols and procedures to modify protocols
