The candidate will join a dynamic team to assist in the execution of SOP-driven research projects in pre-clinical and clinical trials in transfusion medicine and/or cell therapies.Essential FunctionsPerform experiments and records data according to research protocols.Perform testing for red blood cell (RBC), plasma and platelet studies within the requirements/framework of SOP driven research and/or GLP.Perform phlebotomy (including whole blood and apheresis collections) on research subjects.Perform routine and preventative maintenance on laboratory equipment.Maintain records of laboratory inventory and place orders in order to keep the laboratory well stocked with supplies and reagents.Interpret data and assist in judging validity of data. May perform statistical and graphical analysis of data.Maintain accurate and detailed records of all laboratory testing and experiments. Analyze data, perform statistical and graphical analysis of data, and interpret results. Author material for reports, journal articles, and abstracts.Apply research principals for less complex assignments.Perform related duties based on departmental need.
