Description Robert Half Management Resource is ready to onboard a Remote Sr Accountant experienced in QuickBooks Online for a Healthcare Management client. Reporting directly to the VP of finance you will participate in the month-end close process and responsible for revenue reporting, journal entries, account reconciliations, fixed assets, pre-paid, audit support, preparing variance analysis and having a deep understanding of the underlying activity associated with each transaction being recorded. This position requires constant collaboration with team members and several different departments within the Company. Strong communications and collaboration skills are a MUST have for this role. This remote, long-term contract / contract to permanent employment opportunity is based in the Austin, Texas area.

General Responsibilities: · Prepare monthly journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations · Responsible for the oversight of the monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger close process. · Support Accounting Operations AR, AP, Payroll, Collections. · Manipulate data from various systems within Microsoft Excel to calculate revenue · Assist in documentation of processes and key policies · Assist with annual audit support, and SOX compliance. · Coordinate quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors · Work on special projects and reporting as assigned Requirements · BA/BS in Accounting REQUIRED · QuickBooks Online Experience REQUIRED · 5+ Years of overall general accounting experience REQUIRED · Bill.com and Paychex experience a plus · Ability to work well with functional department managers · Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment, to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent
