Description: Lead Aeronautics new business pursuits in the Indo-Pacific region. Accountable for shaping and positioning Aeronautics to win new business through a balanced focus on customer value, the competitive environment, and the corporation's best interests. Develops strategies including business solution for pursuit of opportunities; identification of key stakeholders and champions, competitive assessments, teaming suppliers, prices-to-win; participates/support bid and proposal activities. Ensure cross BA coordination to leverage an ONE LM approach in capturing new business. Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with key customers and stakeholders in Indo-Pacific.

　　Extensive international travel is required.

　　Basic Qualifications:

　　Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience and combined education.

　　Experience in international market development, program/project management, relationship building and/or bid or capture management of major defense programs.

　　Experience with USG Cooperative and FMS program/contracting processes and acquisition strategies.

　　Familiar with Lockheed Martin Aeronautics’ product line.

　　Desired Skills:

　　Demonstrated experience and success developing new business opportunities for very large and complex defense related projects in the Indo-Pacific region with an initial focus on Japan, Taiwan, and one or more countries in Southeast Asia.

　　Proven experience maintaining professional relationships with key stakeholders and demonstrated ability to communicate to customers/decision makers at all levels.

　　Able to adapt quickly to changing business environment and priorities.

　　Comfortable working with little supervision in a complicated and opaque market space.

　　Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

　　Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

　　Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

　　Pay Rate:

　　The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $168,800 - $318,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. 　　The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $146,800 - $281,400 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
