THE ROLE T
The Reliability Manager sets strategy and leads a team of maintenance associates to ensure the maintenance, upkeep and troubleshooting of all production equipment in an area to prevent and/or correct mechanical and electrical breakdowns following safety and quality standards.
· Develop and implement strategies that accelerate and improve current maintenance practices and processes to improve equipment performance, reliability and lower repair costs.
· Develop and deliver comprehensive maintenance and reliability tactical training to maintenance resources.
· Identify required equipment and process upgrades and effectively manage associated project.s
· Coordinate with cross-functional departments (Engineering, R&D, Supply Chain, etc.) to ensure operational effectiveness in new plants and expansions, and life cycle cost considerations in global equipment procurement activities.
· Analyze operational data and equipment performance history to deliver improvements in critical maintenance related metrics including unplanned downtime, PM compliance, schedule compliance, MeanTime-Between-Failures, and maintenance related costs.
YOUR SKILLS
Must have 5 – 7 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably CPG or closely related industry (required).
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field such as mechanical, chemical, electrical, manufacturing, production engineering (preferred).
Lean and/or Six Sigma Certifications (preferred).
Highly skilled in diagnosis and problem-solving, leading a team and liaising with suppliers, and capacity to understand a range of engineering functions and procedures.
Highly developed understanding of TPM methodologies and implementation to drive continuous improvement.
The salary for this role is $83,000.00 - $118,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
