At Saint Mary’s Hospital , Operating Room Registered Nurse RN provides patient care for surgical patients, including:
What you will do:
The Registered Nurse RN is responsible for delivering patient care for an assigned group of patients and directing and coordinating all nursing care according to established standards of practice.
Collaborates with colleagues, physicians, healthcare team members, and the patient and family to ensure safe, effective, and efficient care delivery.
Minimum Qualifications :
Education : Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing BSN degree is preferred.
Registered Nurse RN Licensure: Valid and current Connecticut registered nurse licensure is required.
Experience: 1 or more years of Operating Room in General or Ambulatory OR nursing experience is required.
BLS or CPR certification: Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross will be accepted.
Requires the ability to practice utilizing AORN (Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses) recommended standards and guidelines.
Position Highlights and Benefits :
Full-Time – 40 hours/week - Evening Shift. All shifts require rotating weekends and holidays on-call rotation.
Hours 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, 8-hour to 10-hour variant shift
Sign-on bonus available - Inquire about eligibility and details
Additional hourly specialty pay is added to base pay compensation for Experience Nurses with one (1) or more years of experience
