　　Job Summary and Qualifications

　　As a Registered Nurse at Chippenham Hospital’s Level 1 Trauma Center in the Operating Room, you will be a part of a dynamic team that is focused on fostering educational opportunities, specialty certifications and clinical ladder. Our 15 Suite OR conducts various surgeries consisting of Da Vinci, Trauma, Ortho, Cardiothoracic, ENT, Vascular, Pediatrics, Urology, Plastics, and General Surgeries.

　　You will participate in a teamwork environment where you will be responsible for helping everyone in the department.

　　As a member of this team you will monitor, record and communicate patient conditions as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.

　　Our nurses serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.

　　As a nurse on our team you will be required to participate in On-Call rotation with a call back time of 30 minutes.

　　REQUIREMENTS

　　Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

　　Bachelor’s Degree preferred

　　1 Year of experience as a Perioperative RN or completion of a Perioperative Nurse course

　　Scrubbing or surgical assistant experience preferred

　　Licensed or license eligible, as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginiathrough the Board of Health Professions

　　Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

　　CNOR Certification preferred
