  Flex position, working shifts dependent upon department needs with a weekend and holiday commitment on the Emergency Department at our Chelsea hospital.

  Our Chelsea Emergency Department has experienced physicians and nurses with advanced training in emergency medicine that provide care 365 days a year in the 24-hour Emergency Department. More than 18,000 patients are treated each year for emergencies ranging from life threatening cardiac arrests and strokes, to major injuries and accidents, to more minor injuries. Facilities include a five bay observation center for observation and testing before returning home, as well as 20 private exam rooms adding a greater degree of privacy for patients.

  The Registered Nurse Provides quality patient centered care considering age specific, developmental, cultural and spiritual needs through competent clinical practice and application of the nursing process. They consistently integrate concepts of relationship-based care into practice and serves as a clinical and educational resource to others on the unit.

  REQUIRED EDUCATION / LICENSURE

  · Requires current Michigan Nursing License

  · Graduation from accredited nursing program

  · New hires must have a BSN degree or must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five years
