　　How you make a difference

　　The Registered Nurse (RN)is responsible forassessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients during a shift, and ensuring positive patient care outcomes are achieved. They manage all assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment, and promote collaboration with all members of the healthcare team, family, and caretakers toprovidecompassionate care. Additionally, the RN maybe requiredto float to other patient care areas as needed to ensureappropriate staffinglevels and toprovidesafe, high-quality nursing care.

　　Key Responsibilities

　　Conducts comprehensive psychosocial and physical assessments of patients,determinespatient problems, age-based needs, desiredoutcomesand nursing interventions.

　　Implements nursing interventions and oversees licensed practical nurses, evaluates nursingoutcomesandparticipatesin performance improvement initiatives.

　　Collaborates with healthcare team members, liaises with physicians, andparticipatesinutilizationreview, discharge planning, and case management.

　　Demonstrates accountability for professional practice within legal and regulatory parameters,maintainscompetencies, and advocates for patient rights.

　　Ensures a safe, clean, efficient, and caring environment, models professional behavior reflective of the nursing care philosophy, andmaintainspatient and employee confidentiality.

　　Qualifications & Requirements

　　Education

　　Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN qualification and nursing specialty certification preferred.Experience

　　Experience in acute and/or forensic settings preferred.Licenses/Certifications
