　　This dynamic position is responsible for assisting the cardiologist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular interventions on adult patients. Candidate must be focused on high quality patient centered care through assessment and management of cardiac patients with good communication and interpersonal skills. Registered nurse will be able to circulate, monitor and/or scrub diagnostic and interventional procedures as well as some pre and post care. This position is weekdays only and is located within Duke Raleigh Hospital.

　　Minimum Education

　　Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

　　*Certification/License *Licensed RN in NC or compact state with an unencumbered license. BLS certification required, ACLS required within 90-days

　　Minimum Work Experience

　　Minimum of two years of critical care experience or cardiac catheterization experience and working with hemodynamic waveforms and vaso-active medications required. Ability to read and recognize EKGs and dysrhythmias required.
