Registered Nurse – 5thFloor Med Surg Unit – 24 Hours – Day Shift

　　Shift: 7am-7pm, alternating weekends and holidays

　　GENERAL SUMMARY

　　Unit Overview:

　　The 5thFloor Med Surg Unit is a 44 bed capacity –preferred hospice unit. The patient population is a combination of young adults through their lifespan. 16 beds can consists of tele patients. Our surgical patients are those that have undergone surgeries that require in- patient monitoring. We provide comfort for the End of Life patients while utilizing Palliative and Hospice Care as a resource.

　　EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

　　· Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.

　　· Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
