A key objective for this role is to help to drive consistent credit/collection processes throughout the entire region on the most impactful areas to meet both short-term and long-term business and financial goals while also implementing solutions that:Improve our cash conversion cycle.Optimize our credit risk.Improve/update collections policies and procedures and implement nationally.Provide the reporting necessary for the business leaders to grow their business.The Regional Director of Credit & Collections is also responsible for ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and integrity of credit reviews. The director will prioritize the divisional focus to lower credit risk and improve collection efforts. This position will partner closely with the division business leaders and region leadership team to manage working capital at optimal levels, while delivering on our commitments to our customers. Critical competencies include the leadership skills to hire, train, motivate, develop, and retain a high performing team that is spread across multiple states and locations.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop high-performing Credit & Collection teams through effective recruitment, coaching, development, and succession planning. Establish objectives, communicate the vision and measurements of success, prioritize workloads, ensure adherence to deadlines, and provide ongoing performance feedback.Manage all aspects of the local credit function include credit terms, in many cases through local credit managers.Facilitate a culture of accountability and initiative throughout the Company through data-driven feedback, implementation of effective action plans, and tracking of credit initiatives and delivery of commitments.In partnership with the region's executive team, develop KPI's and scorecards to monitor performance to support ensuring delivery of commitments, by identifying trends or deviations to plans early enough to allow mid-course corrections.Provide thoughtful and thorough business and analytical insight to highlight key business performance risks, issues and opportunities support strategy and business development.Develop and mature financial planning and analysis tools and
