  Job Description

  Lead with confidence and collaborate with various teams in a matrix organization to ensure the brand remains top-of-mind in the market!

  Core Responsibilities

  Team & Leadership

  Lead and develop a high-performing Regional Brand Marketing in and their ways of working with Global Marketing, other Market Group (MG)Brand leads and the 6 diverse APAC MG Business units

  Be an integral contributor to the APAC Marketing team as a member of APAC Marketing Leadership team driving a strong one team culture aligned with LEGO Group values

  Role-model integrated ways of working with other functional leads in the APAC Region - Trade and Digital Directors, Brand relations lead as well as Marketing Planning and Marketing Performance

  Business & Strategy

  Deliver LEGO APAC consumer sales annual growth targets and annual Active Consumers growth target vs Plan in collaboration with the Business units, solving for the different stages of brand maturity that each geography is in

  Lead team in defining regional audience priorities and strategies in the Integrated commercial planning process

  Deploy the brand, audience and portfolio priorities to the BUs in collaboration with Regional Commercial Development

  Recommend Consumer Sales annual targets at audience and theme level to Head of Marketing and APAC LT and be accountable on performance

  Portfolio Planning

  Provide ongoing input of portfolio performance into long term annual demand planning process

  Tracks performance in collaboration with Marketing Performance team and develop mitigation ideas to deliver commercial plan

  Provide strategic regional input into annual portfolio development gates (incl. Masterbrand strategies) based on strong regional consumer, shopper & customer insights

  Review global portfolio for regional nuances, provide input and deploy in the region with relevant selling-in rationale

  Marketing Planning

  Provide regional marketing & activation plans while working with BUs to deliver strong local marketing plans

  Support Marketing Planning to align on regional variations to global Launch and Drive Period plan

  Partner with Marketing Planning to review, challenge BUs on marketing investment effectiveness and sufficiency

  Go-to-Market Activations

  Identify and input regional insights into Global Marketing teams needs for globally developed campaigns

  Cross-collaborate with other Market Brand leads to seek opportunity areas to optimize resources

  Develop and deliver regionally specific campaigns - e.g. Lunar New Year

  Develop Regional integrated briefs for priority campaigns

  Develop and establish a culture of cross sharing BU implementations to drive scale

  Partnerships

  Defines regional joint business plans with key partners (licensors), ensuring strong link between global, regional and local activations

  Drive business reviews with Regional IP Partners

  Insights & Effectiveness

  Increase consumer-centric thinning by partnering with Performance and Insights team to initiate strategic research to advise future audience choices

  Partner with Marketing Performance to apply marketing effectiveness findings into future planning

  APAC Regional Marketing is on a mission of continuing to be at the forefront of our brand growth and innovation in our region. This involves working closely with Global Marketing teams & APAC Business units. The Regional Brand Director will lead the development of aligned LEGO Brand, Audience and Portfolio strategies to grow the LEGO brand and consumer sales in APAC

  The role is pivotal in driving our brand to be APAC‘s leading toy brand – by developing Regional strategic directions in close collaboration with the Regional brand team, APAC Marketing LT, Global and local BU marketing teams to achieve the focused objective of execution with excellence.

  This role and their team will be the lead contact between Global PMD (Product and Marketing Development), Global M&C Marketing (Markets & Channels) team and BUs, making sure that we deliver substantial APAC insights to Global Marketing, that will inform & influence the development of Global portfolio and campaign toolkits, with the ambition to increase relevance and priority to APAC as well as enabling BUs to implement with excellence.

  Do you have what it takes?

  Min. 10 years of relevant experience in portfolio/product management, brand marketing & management, integrated media planning and P&L accountability of brands/products

  Experience in leading seasoned impactful teams in same and remote locations is key

  Consistent track record of leading through influence and managing broad senior collaborator networks are critical

  Regional experience in leading multiple diverse markets and clear on regional value creation to global and markets are highly preferred

  Ability to achieve success with others and through others through collaboration and integrated ways of working in a matrix environment

  Accountable for growth and performance

  Strong self-motivation, resilience and positive energy to lead and influence the organization

  Strategic orientation with experience and curiosity of markets across Asia-Pacific

  Digital & eCommerce experience is a plus

  Demonstrates high level of curiosity, courage and comfort with building previously undefined solutions

  Ability to drive meaningful innovation. Has proven a willingness to take calculated risks and agility in responding to the changing external landscape

  Strong track record of turning consumer, shopper and market insights into action

  Ability to travel approx. 30 days per year

  Passion for the LEGO brand and belief in our values and dedication towards our audiences and ourselves

  Experience in working in a diverse and international environment especially in Asia-Pacific

  Values people, ability to coach and develop people

  Excellent communication and presentation skills, responsiveness and attention to detail
