As part of the AppleCare Worldwide organization, the Refurb Project Manager is responsible for Product configuration, BOM/Material data configuration management, and end-to-end lifecycle management of Refurb products in Agile and SAP. Driving tasks for new product introduction, changes to sustaining product configuration, hardware, and documentation requirements.

Understanding of BOM structuring and engineering-related principles, practices, and procedures Effective at working independently as part of larger, cross-functional teams with little formal guidance Takes initiative to investigate and resolve sophisticated BOM setup and RFB support issues Flexible to handle directional changes and proficient at leading multiple projects at once Performs well in a high-pressure, fast-paced, and sometimes ambiguous environment Develops relationships quickly and works well with large extended teams Exceptional soft skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; must be able to analyze issues including large data sets to resolve root causes and recommend solutions Confirmed ability to easily identify trends, and then document, investigate, raise, track, and resolve issues Excellent self-starter who possesses exceptional time management skills and has excellent attention to detail Commitment to identifying and presenting innovative ideas to improve processes and performance Ability to stay current with the latest processes, procedures, and technology Strong project management skills, including the ability to establish project plans, track open issues, communicate project updates, and lead project deadlines independently BOM knowledge to set, break down, and analyze with expertise in configuration management Understand the PLM system Agile Manufacturing background or experience with an understanding of reverse supply chain

Product data management, document control, or similar function Product Configuration and BOM structuring using Apple's engineering-related principles, practices, and procedures Investigate and resolve sophisticated BOM setup and support issues Manages multiple projects at once in a high-pressure, fast-paced, and sometimes ambiguous environment Analyzes and problem-solves issues including large data sets to resolve root causes and recommends solutions Identify product and business trends, and then document, investigate, bring up, track, and resolve issues Commit to identifying and communicating innovative ideas to improve processes and performance Project manage project plans, track open issues, communicate project updates, and manage project deadlines independently Daily work in iWorkflow, Agile, FAI tool, DPO, and Excel Provide clear input to the project team on schedule, issues, and deliverables related to RFB product setup Analyze, submit, process, and track Agile ECR, ECO, MCO, DEV Drive timely part setup, BOM releases, and BOM changes to support new product introduction (NPI) as well as sustaining business and global setup System support for material configuration data escalations and governance Participate in continuous process improvements focused on systems, reporting, and data analysis efficiencies

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $122,900 and $227,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
