　　Reefer/HVAC Technician

　　Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

　　HVAC/EPA 608 Universal Certification Required!

　　Performs major and general mechanical repairs to Jett vehicles andrefer units including troubleshooting mechanical problems andidentifying their solution to correct malfunctions and reducefurther breakdowns.Follows PM schedules on all equipment.Completes the repair of vehicles following DOT.Maintains accurate records of each repair performed on Jettequipment.Understanding of refrigeration (EPA Certification), electrical,engine, and controllers.Knowledge of generators, power distribution, A/C, heater andshoring; Possesses and understanding of diesel equipment, generatorand air compressors.Operates, adjusts, installs and maintains computerized energymanagement and control systems.Monitor Systems/Annual Testing.Repairs electrical components, oil leaks, fuel systems,refrigeration systems, engines, charging systems, and cycle sentryelectronics.Compressors, Sensors.Carrier & Thermo King Units.Utilizes CFCs and HCFCs refrigerant recovery/recycling equipment,maintains records, and performs all service and maintenance repairsin accordance with current EPA regulations.Preserves shop area by keeping tools and equipment picked up,cleaning up liquid spills, sweeping floor, dumping the trash andperforming other related duties.Must bring own tools/toolbox Moderate amount of tools & gauges.(These Essential Duties and Responsibilities may be modified from timeto time with written notice)
