Major/Essential Functions:
Diagnose and provide specialized treatment to critically ill newborns and infants and manage to discharge;
Coordinate transfers and discussions with other sub-specialty physicians;
Take an active role in the medical education of nurses, respiratory therapist, residents, and medical students;
Ensures compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations.

Required Qualifications:
Must have an MD or foreign-medical equivalent degree. Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Texas or the ability to obtain a medical license in the State of Texas. Completion of ACGME-accredited Pediatric Residency Program. Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatrics.
