Position Summary: The HR Recruiter is responsible for providing HR support services to all team members. This person will efficiently and effectively fill open positions through the recruiting and onboarding processes.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITES:
Builds applicant sources by researching and collaborating with community services, colleges, media, internet sites, etc.
Contact and develop relationships with advertising agencies/resources
Manage calendar for all hiring and recruiting events
Assist Employment Manager
Attracts applicants by utilizing various sources of media and networking.
Posts openings
Maintain knowledge of all plant operational movement and changes and proactively focus on maintaining full staffing levels at all times.
Performs routine and general administrative work and multiple variations of team member-centered tasks and projects.
Promotes company as best place to work providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
Comply with related federal and state regulations and laws, and company policies and procedures.
Assist in data entry and tracking of team member forms
Assists in proper storage of employee records and retention
Promote positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
Prepare paperwork for each interviewed applicant.
Perform various other duties as needed to ensure efficiency in the Employment department
Handle hiring paperwork from start to finish, including handling job offer letter, background check and completing I-9 Employment Eligibility Form.

Qualifications:
Ability to multi-task and pay attention to details
Full knowledge of hiring process
Must be a self-starter and team player
Must be able to demonstrate effective people skills
Must have great attendance and punctuality
Trustworthy – Will be handling confidential material
Must be able to travel 50-75% of the time, especially during prime recruiting season
Must be able to work weekends as needed either traveling for recruiting or covering in the plant
Successful applicant will have strong communication and problem solving skills with experience in employee relations, recruitment, interviewing, selection, and hiring laws and best practices.
Excellent communication & Customer Service skills
Professionalism
Previous experience in a fast-paced, continuously changing environment
Excellent written and verbal communications skills- Including phone etiquette
Computer skills and knowledge of basic office software necessary ((Word, Excel, Access, etc)
Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required, higher level education preferred
1-2 years recruiting/HR experience is preferred
Bilingual required
Must have excellent communications skills including verbal, written and listening; excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively and establish cooperative working relationships with people at all levels of the organization
Must have proficient computer skills: Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to work with little supervision
Must be willing to work with diverse work groups, cultures and appreciate and promote inclusion
