  Summary Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! MCCS is a comprehensive program that supports and enhances the quality of life for Marines, their families, and others in the Marine Corps Community. We offer a team oriented environment comprised of military personnel, civilian employees, contractors and volunteers who keep the organization functioning smoothly and effectively. Responsibilities Performs and/or assists Bowling Center Manager in the operation of the recreation activity during assinged shift at nights, weekends, and for other regular work schedule absences. Responsibility includes snack bar, pro shop, lane assignments and equipment rentals. Based on established policies, incumbent carries out assigned phases of designated activity applying an understanding of the interest and needs of program participants. Typical assignmetns may include reviewing schedule of events taking place during assigned shift, providing instruction to Bowling Center staff on duty, and working with sales, food service, etc., to ensure support for events. Helps to plan and coordinates details of recreational activities and maintains related supplies. Assists in planning, scheduling and publicizing various activities to attract and motivates participants. Assists Manager with training of assigned personnel, ensure adequate staffing during shift, and completes reports of activities and sales. Responsible for receipt, safekeeping, deposit and disbursement and accountability of funds. May oversee sale of retail items associated with activites. Ensures adherence to safety and regulations. Performs other related duties assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment See Duties and Qualifications EVALUATIONS: Qualifications One to two years of experience in a related recreational activity. Able to promote and organize bowling events, and ability to coordinate various operations to ensure continuity between shifts. Knowledge of business mathematics, ability to lead others, and maintain effective customer relations.
