About the Position: Serves as Range Officer with responsibility for managing the Yakima Training Center (YTC) range/training complex and supervising the Range Division, Directorate of Plans, Training, Mobilization and Security (DPTMS). Responsibilities Serves as advisor to the Installation Commander, the DPTMS, and using unit commanders on all matters pertaining to the use of installation range facilities and the safe firing of weapons. Advises organizational personnel on all matters pertaining to safety in the firing of live ordnance. Plans, directs, schedules, and manages all range training activities. Develops budget and manpower requirements. Supervises and directs the work of the division through subordinate supervisors.
