　　We are now hiring for Scheduling in our Radiology department. We offer a positive work environment where personnel work as a team to provide high-quality care.

　　This position requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

　　Department secretary/scheduler that performs a variety of tasks related to the needs of the department and is responsible for a variety of patient information and needs. Functions as the first line interface with customers in the Imaging department, serves as the department scheduling leader and coordinates daily activities of the Imaging Services main reception desk through all means necessary. Fields calls from providers, patients, hospital departments, greets all outpatients, and coordinates patient’s paperwork with the Admissions Department. Works directly with radiologists for verifying and obtaining physician orders, lab results, and outside PHI as needed to schedule and perform diagnostic and special procedures as well as correlating and ensuring the Radiologists, Technologists, and Rooms are available. Responsible for processing Medical Records Release forms, copying/sending imaging data for patients and providers. Champion for ED Discrepancy forms which entails but is not limited to obtaining all required signatures on required paperwork. Coordinates patient exams with the various departments in Imaging and communicates any pertinent information to scheduling, registration, technologists, patients, and families, while adhering to our positive culture requirement.
