  Position Summary:

  The Patient Advocate is responsible for leading, executing, implementing, analyzing, reporting, and evaluating patient experience and service recovery improvement initiatives within the facility. Participating in the development and implementation of projects related to hospital-wide patient/guest experience initiatives. Collaborating with and instructing leadership, physicians, and staff to implement strategies ensuring optimal patient experience outcomes. Identifying and mitigating barriers at the point of care utilizing evidence-based tactics to enforce HRMC's mission and vision.

  Reports to: Manager of Quality and Risk

  FLSA: Exempt

  Minimum Qualifications:

  Minimum EducationBachelor's degree requiredMaster's degree preferredDrag Edit Delete

  Minimum Work Experience5 years Social Work, Hospitality, Communications experience preferred

  Certification:Certified Patient Experience Professional (CPXP) is preferred,**required within two years of hire

  Fingerprint Clearance Card underway on hire; card must be turned in within 60 days after hireDrag Edit Delete

  Required SkillsProven customer service training skillsExcellent verbal and written communications skillsInterpersonal communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skillsPlanning and implementation skills
