Key areas of accountability/responsibility
Responsible to qualify a (new) supplier/producer/material Member of the global team to decide about a new qualification
Set the quality requirements for qualification
Working with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements for
suppliers/producers/materials using SQM Trackwise module
Ensure that the suppliers/producers/materials fulfill the compliance requirements requested by the market regulations
Support and maintain Quality Agreements and Product Specifications with suppliers to ensure an appropriate GMP level (primarily Cosmetic GMP) and other process related requirements (e.g. Manufacturing requirements).
Develop supplier according to quality requirements if needed.
Maintain qualification documentation
Provide final approval for releasing a product to market Review and approve the analytical results
Decide for the correct verdict to release resp. reject the product in LIMS and SAP system, or other future dsm-firmenich integrated system.
Coordinate the complaint process related to SSP-P&B Investigate and document quality complaints
Coordinate the investigation with the supplier
Initiate Corrective and Preventive actions at dsm-firmenich and/or on suppliers’ side
Be the quality interface between the customer (via the complaint owner) and supplier
Set up and maintain risk assessments for existing supplier/producer/material
Supplier/producer audits, aligning with current VS practice (below) or future BU process.
Set up audit plan according to outcome of a risk assessment of
supplier/producer/material
Plan and prepare supplier/producer audits
Execute supplier/producer audits or support executing auditor
Evaluate audit outcome and draw conclusion regarding qualification
Follow up after the audit in case of findings
Close out the audit
Responsible to assess suppliers/producers/materials: Determine and assess quality related information regarding products in responsibility
Define a quality control plan for spot check testing of products in responsibility
Support organization of spot check testing
Evaluate outcome of spot check testing
Evaluate the supplier performance on quality related aspects on an annual base and give input to purchasing for supplier evaluation
You bring
University degree in Life Science (or equivalent qualification) , knowledge in Quality Management requirements for Cosmetic ingredients.
Fluency in English, other languages are assets.
Good communication skills (internal and external), very good organizational skills.
Not only experience to work with diverse and cross-functional teams, internally and externally, also experience in analysis laboratory/analytical chemistry and/or manufacturing.
Willingness to travel.
