　　This is for a quality engineer in Wilson, NC. This position may be eligible for relocation.

　　Primary Responsibilities

　　Support Production by learning and providing basic Quality Engineer support, as well as audits

　　Support implementation of proactive organization projects and processes to ensure overall quality is continuously improving

　　Support peers to drive quality improvement processes to ensure on-going reductions in Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and escapes

　　Manages Root Cause Corrective Action tasks within teams that reduce scrap, reduce defects and improve customer satisfaction

　　Assist teams in collecting and analyzing quality information from multiple sources to develop long-term quality strategy and programs

　　Basic Qualifications

　　Bachelors degree and less than 12 months of experience

　　U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the information under this program/contract

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　Experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment

　　Experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100

　　Experience leading teams of quality professionals

　　Awareness of new product introduction tools; PFMEA, Control Plans, Characteristic Matrix, Gage Capability, Process Capability, Process Flow, Preventive Maintenance, Machine Runoff, etc.

　　Understanding of problem-solving methods – i.e. 8D, root cause analysis – and the associated statistical tools used to analyze problems.

　　The salary range for this role is 53,000 USD - 103,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
