　　Job Description

　　We are currently seeking to appoint a QA Coordinator at our Taura site in Mount Maunganui. This is a fixed term maternity leave cover from January 2023 to September 2024. Reporting to the Quality Manager, this role requires you to support the site through maintaining, coordinating and monitoring the site's Quality Management System, conducting internal & external audits, while helping to drive our commitment to deliver quality products to meet our customer's expectations.

　　Key responsibilities will include:

　　Providing assistance to the Quality and Compliance Team to enhance raw material approval

　　Ongoing assurance including food safety documentation, traceability and staff training

　　Documentation approval, raw material verification and stock management

　　Performing GMP Inspections, Internal Audits, Validation & Verification activities both in and out of the factory environment

　　Develop, improve and optimise the business systems to support continuous improvement activities

　　Develop, improve and optimise the site Food Safety Programme

　　Job Requirements

　　To be successful in this role:

　　Previous experience in a similar role within the food industry including quality control

　　Experience in the Essential Oils, Cosmetic, Pharmaceutical, Health & Personal Care or Food & Beverage Industry highly desirable

　　An understanding of GMP and HACCP principles

　　A commitment to the principles of food safety and drive to uphold those principles.

　　Attention to detail, with clear and accurate documentation skills

　　A disciplined, proactive approach to timelines and compliance to procedures.
