Actalent is looking for a Quality Control Manager

This individual will be working as a QCM at PAX RIVER SPECIFICALLY. Duties as the Quality Control Manager (QCM) are to see that the project is constructed in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared by the government and that the quality levels set by the contract documents are maintained or exceeded throughout the course of construction.
The QCM is authorized to make decisions for consistency with the highest construction standards. The standards shall include the procurement of needed materials and workmanship of all construction activities.
The QCM is also authorized to halt construction of any and all activities that are not proceeding to the levels required until such time as corrective efforts to the QCM’s satisfaction have been made. The QCM is authorized to order reworking or replacing of any item that you feel is not up to required levels.
The QCM is responsible for authorizing field crews to conduct appropriate tests, consult with any specialist, and refer to any documents that will aid in making an intelligent appraisal of the work.
5+ years as a dedicated QCM, active CQCM Cert and 4-year Degree
This individual will be monitoring the quality control portion of the project at the Bethesda Navy Exchange. They will be responsible of any and all over sight directly related to quality control, and will use their certifications of quality control/safety in order to do so.
EM385, OSHA30, CQM, QCM, OSHA500, CSP, are all relevant certifications

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years as a dedicated QCM working on government/relevant projects within construction (they do mostly renovations)
active CQCM Cert and EM-385 certifications - they need to be active
10+ years of construction experience
