  Job Description

  The LRS Enterprise Output Management (EOM) Quality Assurance group is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst I. We’re a global leader in information technology solutions known for innovation, quality, integrity, and financial strength.   As a Quality Assurance Analyst I, you will provide testing, troubleshooting, and documentation for the premier Output Management products we develop and support to our enterprise-size global customers. Our EOM solutions manage the distribution of application, desktop, and mobile device output throughout the enterprise, helping organizations reduce their total costs for critical document delivery.

  Your duties will primarily consist of software product testing, diagnosing issues, and providing detailed documentation, as well as creating, maintaining, and executing test plans.

  You will be trained to use and install all the LRS EOM product sets. As a member of the Quality Assurance team, you will work closely with other team members to diagnose software issues and report them effectively to others. You will also interact with our Development and Support teams to assist in diagnosing and resolving problems.

  This position is based at our corporate headquarters in Springfield, Illinois. This position is eligible for a hybrid-work model after successful completion of the training period. You will be paid an annual salary, paid overtime, and receive full benefits.

  Candidate Requirements:

  You must have at least 2 years of experience in software testing or installing/configuring server and client-based software.

  Experience with Windows operating systems.

  Knowledge of computer networking concepts.

  Experience with Unix, Linux or Mac operating systems will make you a stronger candidate.

  Working knowledge of a programming or scripting language will make you a stronger candidate.

  Working knowledge of Windows server virtualization will make you a stronger candidate.

  You must have permanent authorization to work in the USA. Visa sponsorship is not available.

  You must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills and excellent diagnostic skills. You should be well organized, able to manage multiple tasks, and be able to adapt to new systems and methodology. You must work well as part of a team and be able to work independently.

  Organization Structure:

  The Enterprise Output Management group develops and sells the world’s most successful suite of output management software. The Product Development, Quality Assurance and Product Support groups are managed by the VP of Product Development. You will report directly to the EOM Quality Assurance Manager who reports to the VP of Product Development.

  Salary range: $50,000 – 55,000 annually plus paid overtime and full benefits. This range represents the low and high for this position. The salary will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to, experience and performance.
