Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated individual to engage in best practice testing skills to ensure high quality releases. The Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst will engage in an agile environment with responsibly for executing, preparing, and running test cases along with reporting results and observations while ensuring and optimizing QA best practices. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Participate in gathering and reviewing business requirements; actively listen, ask pertinent questions, and provide input to clarify testing needs Identify, prepare, and execute test cases and test data to ensure business requirement outcomes are met Attend, participate and advance understanding of the agile process and associated ceremonies Record and report software defects found during testing; communicate impact of defects and expected testing results Analyze, prepare, and present test results Through coaching and mentoring begin to demonstrate the ability to be a voice for the needs of QA to ensure a quality product delivery Learn and ensure adherence to QA best practices and procedures; escalate issues to ensure success Gain an understanding of the automation teams purpose and goals; learn to adjust tests when possible to accommodate automation needs Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years experience performing quality assurance testing activities 2+ years of work experience performing quality assurance testing activities Experience with JIRA/Confluence or similar tools Experience with Test Management Tools Experience with agile methodology Experience collaborating with cross functional teams; including both IT and business teams Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years of work experience in testing web and/or client server applications Exposure to the purpose and value of automated testing ECMC is an EEO/AA employer.
