Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our QualificationSpecialist Position. The Qualification Specialist ensures that medicaldocumentation is accurate and gathered in an efficient and timely mannerfor all orders. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Have knowledge of the documentation requirements for the payers andproduct categories for which Norco provides services (will train) Haveknowledge of insurance company policy manuals,fee schedules, andcontracts (will train) Perform Insurance Verification Gather medicaldocumentation required to meet specific insurance company\'s guidelinesSubmit and obtain insurance prior authorizations via fax, online portalentry, mail, etc for equipment prior to delivery whenever possibleReview documentation to assure pay coverage criteria is met when a priorauthorization cannot be obtained from the insurance company Follow upwith therapists and physicians when DWOs, DPDs, chart notes, and LMNsare not received per Norco protocol Stay abreast of industry updates andMedicare changes Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary Startingwage \$18.00/Hr Qualifications Complete understanding of medicalsoftware used by Norco (on the job training) Perform basic mathematicscalculations Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (i.e processingpaperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, etc.) Company Description Foundedin 1948, Norco is headquartered in Boise, Idaho and has more than 70branches in Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Nevada, Washington, Utah andWyoming.
