Kelly Services is actively recruiting for a QC Technician for a Temporary Contract (9-12 Months) opportunity in Bowling Green, OH.

　　SUMMARY:

　　Tests and inspects products, raw materials and equipment at various stages of production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products by performing the following duties. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

　　ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: other duties may be assigned as needed.

　　• Test products, raw materials or equipment according to established procedures.

　　• Records test data in appropriate location.

　　• Evaluates results and make adjustments if required.

　　• Report non-routine results to research chemist or laboratory manager.

　　• Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.

　　• Prepare reports as needed or requested by laboratory manager.

　　• Analyze returned products.

　　• Speak in front of tour groups to describe functions of QC.

　　• Conduct special projects pertaining to QC or QA as requested by supervisor.

　　• Must maintain a clean and safe environment.

　　• Must be able to communicate with Betco salesmen and managers when necessary.

　　• Capable of performing limited R&D projects with supervision.

　　• Perform wet chemistry testing including but not limited to titrations, pH determinations, foam testing, solids determinations and refractometer readings.

　　• Learn the use of specialized equipment necessary to perform testing including but not limited to Viscometer, FTIR, HPLC, Flash Point tester and centrifuge

　　• Learn specialized techniques in order to perform testing including but not limited to floor finish application, glass cleaner evaluation, and sample preparation

　　• Be able to take samples from manufacturing tanks, raw material containers and storage tanks
