　　What You Will Do

　　If you are a great QA Engineer with a passion for security and technology, come join ForeScout’s R&D team of QA Engineers and take part in defining, testing, and driving the future world-wide market-leading product suite consisting of: eyeSight, eyeControl, eyeExtend, eyeManage, and eyeRecover.

　　Applications range from client / server applications to web apps for a unified device visibility and control solution, running on both Windows and Linux systems.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Duties involve testing the CounterACT software suite along with third-party devices including:

　　Network/Switch devices

　　Endpoint compliance

　　Software integrations

　　Analyze and report defects in software to improve conformance, stability, and supportability.

　　Test defect fixes and new functionality as required.

　　Provide technical direction to internal teams as needed.

　　What You Will Bring To Forescout

　　A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in software quality assurance or software development, preferably in Networking or Endpoint security

　　General knowledge of software engineering concepts and techniques.

　　C/C++ experience.

　　Experience in Java programming.

　　Perl experience – advantage

　　Linux/Unix development experience.

　　Linux system/environment experience (script languages, regular exp., awk, sed, etc.) – advantage. Troubleshooting

　　Bachelor’s degree in computer science

　　Networking:

　　Good understanding of TCP/IP.

　　Knowledge in protocols (DNS, SMTP, SNMP, DHCP, 802.1 x).

　　Familiar with network equipment configuration (Switch, Router).

　　Windows-based networks, domain management advantage

　　Personal Skills

　　Ability to easily learn and apply new technologies.

　　Works well with others in a team environment.

　　Ability to work independently.

　　Highly motivated to succeed.
