Description
Leeco Steel LLC is interested in hiring an Expeditor who has excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong time management skills and a commitment to meeting customer deadlines and receiving critical orders on time. The Expeditor will be responsible for communicating with vendors and transportation companies to ensure all critical deliveries arrive at their destination on time. He or she will be required to report their daily activities to the purchasing and sales team.
• Maintain constant contact with suppliers while critical orders are in production and delivery.• Notify purchasing and sales team if a critical shipment is going to be late.• Keep a current list of all critical orders and the current plan for delivery.• Help with tracking on time delivery by supplier.• Verify order acknowledgements are received within 48 hours from suppliers.• Investigate supplier invoice discrepancies and work internally/externally to resolve them.
