Description/Job Summary

　　Pitt Plastics is looking for the right invidual to come work in our Maintenance Department as a Janitor for the plant. This opportunity will be great for someone that wants day shift hours, is self-motivated and reliable, and ready to bring a great attitude.

　　Responsibilities/Duties

　　Service, clean, and supply maintenance/production/shipping/office as well as restrooms throughout facility.

　　Gather and empty trash in office areas, restrooms, production floor, breakroom, shipping and outside including the picnic areas.

　　Responsible for cleaning parking lot to be free of any trash, cigarette debris.

　　Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.

　　Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.

　　Mix water and detergents/cleaners in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.

　　Notify maintenance managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.

　　Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.

　　Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.

　　Responsible for cleanliness outside of plant as well ensuring all trash is picked up and emptied, steps and front entrance swept and clean along with picnic tables.

　　Follow-cleaning procedures outline on daily cleaning checklist.

　　Responsible for cleaning the restrooms/break areas in the shipping department along with emptying trash and cleaning any trash outside the entire building/parking lot.

　　Submit completed check list weekly.

　　Experience on a scissor lift would be beneficial for cleaning high places within the plant.

　　Must have the ability to read measurements.

　　High organizational skills.

　　Self-motivated

　　Able to lift at least 50 pounds.

　　Ability to work in environment that is extremely hot, humid in the summer months, and cold in the winter months., reaching above head (occasionally), stooping (occasionally), twisting (occasionally), and bending at waist (occasionally).
