The Property Manager performs a variety of work managing and coordinating property operations, maintenance, renovations, and administrative functions to meet funder expectations.
Responsibilities/Duties
Familiar with basic principles and practices of property management as well as applicable federal, state, and local laws and licensing regulations associated with RHD programs.Conducts routine property inspections to ensure health and safety of residents and employees and to determine needed repairs or renovations (i.e., annual, pre-licensing, etc.).Assists in new property selection, acquisition, start-up renovations (as needed), moves, closures, and/or sale.Reviews and negotiates property related agreements and contracts with landlords, RHD unit directors and others.Assists in obtaining permits, certificates of occupancy, and other certifications related to municipal inspections and zoning.Conducts routine property inspections to ensure health and safety of residents and employees and to determine needed repairs or renovations (i.e., annual, pre-licensing, etc.).Monitors the completion and submission of related incident and/or investigation reports. 3 years' relative work experience required. Required Education

RHD properties must be maintained in a safe, clean and functional manner at all times. At a minimum, property conditions must always satisfy quality levels established by RHD and those expected by our funders. Multiple levels of management are expected to review and respond to property-related issues that impact the safety and quality of our programs.RHD employees and programs in the City of Philadelphia are required to follow the COVID vaccine mandate. Revised PDPH guidance allows for new hires to be partially vaccinated at the time of hire. This means they have received at least one shot in a two-dose series or a single dose in a one-dose series before beginning in-person shifts. The final dose must be received within4 weeks of hire (start date). This currently does not include boosters.
