　　[Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking an experienced real estate professional to serve as a Property & Acquisition Specialist within the Eastern Region Real Estate Services Office located in Spokane, WA. This position supports the region by acquiring right of way in compliance with state and federal regulations to qualify for and preserve federal funds necessary to support WSDOT's program delivery. In this role, you will review title reports and associated documents for assigned acquisitions, assist the title department with clearing title encumbrances, prepare conveyance documents for in-house closings of assigned acquisitions, and act as a liaison between WSDOT and the property owner. This position is the Senior Acquisition Agent for Eastern Region and acquires, through negotiation under eminent domain, and is responsible for the acquisition of properties owned by private parties, local jurisdictions, other state agencies, federal agencies all according to the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970, of the real property necessary to deliver the WSDOT Eastern Region's highway construction projects. ]{arial",="" sans-serif"=""}
